R Ragulika IP Patent Assistant

Terms of service

The agreement between you and Ragu And Lika IP Private Limited when you use this application.

Ragu And Lika IP Private Limited · In effect from 25 Aug 2026

01 Who you are contracting with

Ragu And Lika IP Private Limited ("we", "us") is a private limited company registered in India, with its registered office at Y II E 120/2, Triveni Puram, Jhunsi, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh 211019. Our GSTIN is 09AANCR3540G1Z7. This application, Ragulika IP Patent Assistant, is operated by us at https://docket.ragulikaip.com.

By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a firm or a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it, and "you" means that organisation as well as yourself.

02 What the service does, and what it does not do

Ragulika IP Patent Assistant is a docketing and reminder aid for Indian patent applications. It takes the application details and documents you give it, works out the periods that follow under the Patents Act 1970 and the Patents Rules 2003 as amended, and shows you what falls due and when.

Ragulika IP Patent Assistant is a reminder and docketing aid. Every date it shows is calculated from the information available to it, which may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. You must verify every deadline independently against the official records of the Indian Patent Office and with a qualified patent professional before acting or deciding not to act. This is not legal advice, it does not create any professional relationship, and no responsibility or liability is accepted for any loss arising from reliance on it.

In particular, and because people reasonably assume otherwise:

  • We do not watch the register on your behalf. The application works from what you enter and upload. It does not poll the Patent Office in the background.
  • We do not file anything for you, and we do not pay official fees. Filing and fees remain yours to do, whether or not the application reminded you.
  • A calculated date is only as good as the trigger date behind it. Where a date is derived rather than confirmed from an official document, the application labels it as needing confirmation, and you should treat it as provisional.
  • Extensions and condonation of delay are at the Controller's discretion. The application shows you the outer date on which relief could be sought; it cannot promise that relief will be granted.

Using this application does not create a lawyer-client or patent agent relationship with us. If you separately instruct Ragulika IP to act on a matter, that engagement is governed by its own letter of engagement, not by these terms.

03 What it costs

The application is charged per patent application tracked, per billing period. The price is ₹19 per application per month, exclusive of GST. GST at 18% is added, so the amount actually debited is ₹22.42 per application per month.

Paying a year at a time attracts a 15% discount: ₹193.80 per application per year before GST, ₹228.68 after, against ₹228 at the monthly rate. The annual price is derived from the monthly one, so the discount you are shown is always the discount you get.

The first application is free. The allowance comes off the top rather than off the end, so a portfolio of three applications is billed as 2 applications.

All prices are in Indian rupees. GST is charged as CGST and SGST where the place of supply is in our own state, and as IGST where it is in another state. If you supply a valid GSTIN we bill against it and your place of supply follows it. Supplies to customers outside India are treated as export of services.

The service is classified under SAC 997331. A tax invoice in the form required by Rule 46 of the CGST Rules is issued for every successful payment and is available to download from your account for as long as the account exists.

04 The amount changes when your portfolio changes

This is the part of a per-unit subscription that surprises people, so we will be exact about it.

The amount charged in a period is the number of applications you are tracking at the time the period is billed, less the free allowance, multiplied by the unit price. Add an application and the next debit is larger. Remove one and the next debit is smaller.

We do not debit you mid-period for an application you added mid-period, and we do not refund mid-period for one you removed. The count is taken when the period renews.

Before every debit that differs from the one before it, we tell you the new amount in advance, by email, together with the date it will be taken. You can cancel before that date and it will not be taken.

05 Automatic payment, and what you are authorising

Subscriptions are paid by standing instruction on your card or UPI account, set up through our payment gateway. When you approve the mandate you are authorising us to debit that instrument, on each renewal date, for the amount then due, until you cancel.

What is debited
₹19 per tracked application per month, or ₹193.80 per year, plus GST at 18%.
How often
On the same date each month, or each year, depending on the term you chose.
Maximum amount
The mandate carries an upper limit shown to you when you approve it. We cannot debit more than that limit without your fresh approval.
Notice before debit
At least 24 hours' notice by email before each debit, as required by the Reserve Bank of India.
Additional authentication
Debits above ₹15,000 require you to authenticate again. Below that, the mandate runs on its own.
How to stop it
From Plan and payments inside the application, at any time, without contacting us. You can also cancel through your bank or card issuer.

We never see or store your card number, UPI PIN, or bank credentials. Those go directly to the payment gateway, which is PCI-DSS compliant. We hold only the gateway's reference for your mandate, the last four digits, and the payment status.

06 If a payment fails

Cards expire, mandates get revoked, and balances run out. When a debit fails we email you and retry over the following days.

You keep full access for 14 days after a failed payment. During that grace period nothing is hidden and nothing is deleted.

If it is still unpaid after that, the consequence is that you cannot add new applications. It is not that your deadlines stop. Every application already in your account continues to be calculated, displayed and reminded on, and every document you have uploaded stays where it is. We are not willing to let a billing problem be the reason somebody misses a statutory date.

Paying the outstanding amount restores everything immediately.

07 Your account and your data

You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself and for what is done under your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has access to it.

Where you use a firm or team account, the account owner controls who is invited and what they can see. Members of a firm can see the firm's applications. No user of this application can ever see another customer's applications or documents. That boundary is enforced in the software and is not a setting anyone can turn off.

You keep ownership of everything you upload. You give us permission to store and process it only so far as is needed to run the service for you. We do not use your patent data to train anything, and we do not sell it or share it with anyone except as set out in the privacy policy.

08 What you must not do

  • Use the application to store anything unlawful, or anything you have no right to hold.
  • Try to reach another customer's data, probe the service for weaknesses, or work around its access controls.
  • Resell or white-label the service, or give access to people outside your organisation, without our written agreement.
  • Scrape it, automate against it at a volume that degrades it for others, or copy its content wholesale.

We may suspend an account that is doing any of these, and we will tell you why.

09 Availability

We aim to keep the application available continuously, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance is announced in advance where it can be. Outages happen, and a deadline does not move because a website was down, which is exactly why the terms above tell you to keep your own record.

10 Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that: the application is a reminder aid, you have agreed to verify every date independently, and we are not liable for any loss of rights, loss of profit, loss of business or indirect loss arising from a missed deadline, an incorrect calculation, a date you did not confirm, or the application being unavailable.

Where we are liable, our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in that period.

This is not a hedge we are hiding behind. It is the honest allocation of a risk that sits with the person who can actually check the register, and we have built the application to keep telling you so.

11 Changing these terms and the price

We may change these terms. If a change materially affects you we will email you at least thirty days before it takes effect, and you may cancel before then.

We may change the price. A price change never applies to a period you have already paid for, and you will be told at least thirty days before the first debit at the new price. If you do not want it, cancel; nothing will be taken.

12 Ending the agreement

You can cancel at any time from inside the application. Cancellation and refunds are dealt with in full in our cancellation and refunds policy.

We may end the agreement on thirty days' notice, or immediately if you breach it seriously. If we end it for any reason other than your breach, we refund the unused part of what you have paid.

Either way you can export your data before access ends, and we will help you do it.

13 Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of India. The courts at Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction.

Please write to us first. Most things are a misunderstanding and are fixed in a day. Our contact details, and the grievance officer to escalate to, are on the contact page.
